Tour details

DAY 01: PHNOM PENH ARRIVAL (D)

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, you will visit the Royal Palace, which is currently the residence of His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families. This palace is like a small town of royal dynasties. Afterward, you will continue to the Silver Pagoda, which is not only a functioning temple but also a repository for cultural treasures, including a 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds. You will spend the night in Phnom Penh.

DAY 02: PHNOM PENH (B/L/D)

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to the Choeng Ek "Killing Fields" located 15 km south of Phnom Penh. This site witnessed the detention and torture of around 17,000 individuals, including men, women, children, and infants (including nine westerners) between 1975 and 1978. The victims were then transported to the extermination camp of Choeng Ek. Later, we will visit the Independence Monument for a photo shoot and explore the Psa Thmey market.

In the afternoon, explore the Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison), which was once a school but was later converted into a prison by Pol Pot's security forces. Over 17,000 individuals were held at S-21 and subsequently taken to the Choeng Ek extermination camp for execution. Next, head to the Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), known for its affordable clothing, Buddha images, woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, and classical musical instruments. Afterward, visit the Wat Phnom Temple, a significant pagoda in Phnom Penh that was constructed in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh. Return to the hotel after dinner, or opt to visit the Naga World Casino. Spend the night in Phnom Penh.

DAY 03: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (B/L/D)

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the bus station or airport for your onward journey to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel for check-in. For lunch, you will be taken to a local Indian restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the Floating Village and take a ride on a traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake.

This will give you a unique experience of the human occupations at the edges of the lake, including floating villages, towering stilted houses, huge fish traps, and an economy and way of life deeply intertwined with the lake, the fish, the wildlife, and the cycles of rising and falling waters. If time permits, you will also visit Artisan D’Angkor, a handicraft center for wood and stone carving processes. You will spend the night in Siem Reap.

  • Shuttle bus transportation is available for Option 1 at a cost of $15.00 per person.
  • Flight Option 2 costs $120 per person when booked through K6. Please note that the fare is subject to change without prior notice.

DAY 04: SIEM REAP (B/L/D)

Begin your day with a visit to The South Gate of Angkor Thom, where you can explore Bayob Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Next, venture to Ta Promh, also known as the jungle temple. After a satisfying lunch, continue your journey to Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, and Ta Keo, a small yet charming temple in excellent condition, built during the same time as Angkor Wat. Your next stop is the renowned Angkor Wat, considered one of the "7th Wonders of the World" and a World Heritage Site since 1992.

Admire its beauty and splendor, including the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which tells stories from Hindu mythology along the outer gallery walls. End your day with a visit to Bakheng Hill, where you can witness a breathtaking sunset from the top of the temple-mountain, offering extraordinary views. Rest for the night in Siem Reap.

Special note:

Regarding the Bakan Tower visit at Angkor Wat Temple, it is closed for four days each month in observance of the Theravada Buddhist Religious Calendar. Visitors must dress appropriately, covering their shoulders and knees in non-revealing attire. Additionally, visitors are asked to wait in line for their turn to climb to the peak, and for safety reasons, children under the age of twelve are not allowed to do so.

DAY 05: SIEM REAP (KULEN NATIONAL PARK) (B/L/D)

After breakfast, we will head to Kulen National Park, located on Kulen Mountain, which was the capital of the Khmer Empire in the early 9th century. During our visit, we will explore numerous ancient temples, the River of 1000 Lingas, a reclining Buddha, and a cascading waterfall where you can cleanse yourself with holy water. We will return to town for a late lunch.

In the afternoon, we will travel to Pouk district, which is approximately 15 km west of Siem Reap town. Here, we will visit a silk farm and workshop where you can witness the entire silk creation process, including growing food for silk worms, breeding the worms, silk extraction and refinement, traditional kit dying pattern creation, and looming. There is also a retail silk and souvenir shop available. On our way back, we will stop at the Western Baray (Baray Occidental), which measures 8 km by 2.3 km and provided water for the intensive cultivation of lands around Angkor. We will spend the night in Siem Reap.
