World Mate Travel holds its own ground arrangements in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand, which means a route that crosses two or three of them is handled by one company end to end rather than handed between agents at each border. That is why these are the longest trips on the site: every one runs a week or more and the median is eleven days, because a genuine Indochina route needs that much time to be more than an airport tour of three capitals. The classic shapes are here — Hanoi down through Vietnam and across to Angkor, or Luang Prabang to Chiang Mai, or all three capitals with the Mekong in between. Visas, border formalities and the permits some of these crossings need are arranged as part of the trip rather than left to you at the checkpoint.
