Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok – Chao Phraya River Excursion (No Meals)

Upon your morning arrival in Bangkok, you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a long-tail boat cruise along the legendary Chao Phraya River and its lively network of canals. This excursion offers a glimpse into local riverside life and Bangkok’s charming old-world atmosphere. En route, stop to admire Wat Arun, the stunning "Temple of Dawn", with its iconic riverside spires.

Day 2: Bangkok – Royal Grand Palace & Jim Thompson House ( Breakfast )

After breakfast, visit the Grand Palace, an opulent complex that has served as the ceremonial residence of Thai royalty. Within the same grounds lies the revered Wat Phra Kaew, home to the revered Emerald Buddha. Continue to the nearby Wat Pho, renowned for its massive Reclining Buddha and traditional Thai massage school.
In the afternoon, head to the Jim Thompson House, a unique teakwood mansion hidden in the city’s bustling center. Learn the story of the American entrepreneur who revolutionized the Thai silk industry and mysteriously vanished in 1967. Explore his collection of Southeast Asian art and architecture, as well as the traditional Thai homes he painstakingly assembled from around the country.

Day 3: Bangkok – Day Trip to Ayutthaya ( Breakfast )

Depart in the morning for a full-day excursion to Ayutthaya, the former capital of the Kingdom of Siam and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your first stop is Wat Phu Khao Thong, or the "Monastery of the Golden Mount", located just outside the main historical park. Continue to the ancient palace ruins and Wat Phra Si Sanphet, once the holiest temple on the palace grounds. Visit the nearby Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit, which houses one of Thailand’s largest bronze Buddha statues.
After lunch (at your own expense), explore Wat Lokaya Sutha, where a massive reclining Buddha lies in serene repose. The final visit of the day is to Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, a beautiful royal retreat showcasing a blend of Thai, Chinese, Khmer, and European architectural styles.
Return to Bangkok in the late afternoon.
