Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok – Chao Phraya River Excursion (No Meal)

Upon arrival in Bangkok, our representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic ride aboard a traditional long-tail boat through the Chao Phraya River and its lively network of canals. Observe the daily life along the waterways and make a stop at the stunning Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 2: Cultural Exploration of Bangkok (B)

Start your day with a visit to the magnificent Grand Palace, the ceremonial residence of the Thai monarchy. Within its grounds lies Wat Phra Kaew, home to the revered Emerald Buddha statue. Next, discover Wat Pho, famed for its colossal Reclining Buddha. In the afternoon, delve into the legacy of Jim Thompson at his beautifully preserved teakwood residence. Learn about the American entrepreneur’s contributions to the Thai silk industry and explore his exquisite collection of Southeast Asian art. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 3: Markets and History: Bangkok – Maeklong – Floating Market – Kanchanaburi (B)

Set off early to explore the fascinating Maeklong Railway Market, where vendors swiftly clear their stalls as trains approach. Sample local treats before continuing to Damnoen Saduak for a boat trip through its vibrant floating market. Later, journey to Kanchanaburi, where you’ll visit the WWII Jeath War Museum and the Allied War Cemetery. Board a historic train ride along the River Kwai, part of the infamous “Death Railway,” and then see the iconic Bridge on the River Kwai. Overnight in Kanchanaburi.

Day 4: Kanchanaburi to Ayutthaya: Tracing Ancient Glory (B)

After breakfast, drive to Ayutthaya, Thailand’s former capital. Begin your exploration at Wat Phu Khao Thong, the "Monastery of the Golden Mount," and continue to the historic Royal Palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. Admire the immense bronze Buddha statue at Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit, and later visit Wat Lokaya Sutha, known for its giant reclining Buddha. Overnight in Ayutthaya.

Day 5: Bang Pa-In Palace & Return to Bangkok (B)

This morning, discover the beautiful Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, a former royal residence blending Thai, Chinese, and European architectural styles. After your visit, return to Bangkok around midday. Enjoy free time for last-minute shopping or relaxation before your transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
