Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok (-)

Upon arrival at Bangkok International Airport, a guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. As the capital city of Thailand, Bangkok boasts a rich history deeply connected to the Chakri dynasty. After check-in, enjoy leisure time to rest or explore the city at your own pace.

Day 2: Bangkok – Khao Yai (B)

After breakfast, journey to Khao Yai with a stop at Klang Don’s local fruit market, where vibrant displays of fresh produce await. Continue to Khao Yai National Park, Thailand’s first and most scenic national park, established in 1962 and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a nature walk along the Haew Su Wat waterfall trail before checking in at your hotel.

Day 3: Khao Yai – Phimai – Korat (B)

Depart for Nakhon Ratchasima, commonly known as Korat, the gateway to the Isan region. En route, visit Dan Kwian, a village renowned for traditional pottery. In Korat, explore the Thao Suranari Memorial, dedicated to the heroine Lady Mo. Later, visit the ancient archaeological site of Ban Prasat, followed by Phimai Historical Park, home to the stunning Prasat Hin Phimai and the sacred Sai Ngam banyan tree.

Day 4: Korat – Buriram – Surin (B)

Travel to Buriram to explore Prasat Phanom Rung, a magnificent hilltop Khmer sanctuary. Nearby, discover Muang Tham, another beautifully preserved temple by an ancient reservoir. Continue to Surin, stopping at the National Museum (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays), which showcases prehistoric artifacts and the diverse ethnic cultures of the region including Khmer, Suay, and Laotian communities.

Day 5: Surin – Khong Jiam (B)

After breakfast, visit Ban Khwao Sinarin, known for its traditional silverware, followed by a stop at the rural village of Ban Sam Kho, famed for silk weaving. Explore the 11th-century Sikhoraphum Temple, and later, Kamphaeng Yai, a little-known Khmer site with Hindu sculptures and inscriptions. Conclude the day in Khong Jiam, nestled along the Mekong River.

Day 6: Khong Jiam – Mukdahan – Nakhon Phanom (B)

Depart for Mukdahan, a vibrant border town with a lively market showcasing goods from Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. Culinary adventurers can sample unique delicacies here. Continue to Nakhon Phanom, visiting Wat Phra That Phanom—one of the region’s most sacred temples—and Ban Na Chok village, where Ho Chi Minh once lived.

Day 7: Nakhon Phanom – Sakhon Nakhon – Udon Thani (B)

Head to Sakhon Nakhon to experience the sacred thread ceremony, an animist tradition believed to bring good luck and protect one's soul. Explore Ban Chiang, a UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site with evidence of a Bronze Age civilization. Visit local artisans at Dong Yen and Baan Pulu before heading to Talay Bua Daeng (Red Lotus Sea), where a boat ride among blooming lotus flowers offers a tranquil finale.
Overnight in Udon Thani.
Day 8: Udon Thani – Nong Khai – Bangkok – Departure (B)

After breakfast, visit an orchid farm that cultivates the unique Udon Sunshine orchid. Continue to Nong Khai to explore Sala Kaew Ku, a mystical park filled with towering Buddhist and Hindu statues. Discover Tha Sadet Market, known for its cross-border crafts and goods. Later, transfer to Udon Thani Airport for your return flight to Bangkok and onward journey.
