Day 1 – Arrival in Chiang Rai (-)

Upon your arrival in Chiang Rai, enjoy free time to relax or explore the peaceful city at your own pace. Stroll around to soak in the calm ambiance and local charm.
Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Day 2 – Chiang Rai City Exploration (B)

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to the local market, where you can discover a variety of fresh and traditional regional products. Continue to Wat Phra Kaew, the former resting place of the revered Emerald Buddha. Then head to Wat Phra Singha, home to one of Thailand’s most exquisite Buddha images.

Next, take a short drive to the iconic Baan Dam (Black House), the imaginative creation of national artist Thawan Duchanee. This artistic complex blends traditional Lanna architecture with surreal and contemporary designs, functioning as a museum, studio, and residence.

Enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, board a scenic boat ride along the Mae Kok River to a Karen village. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to observe and feed elephants in their natural environment.
Return to Chiang Rai for overnight.

Day 3 – Chiang Rai – Doi Mae Salong – Golden Triangle – Chiang Saen (B)

Start your morning with breakfast before setting out toward the lush and mountainous region of Northern Thailand. Journey through the winding hills to Doi Mae Salong, known for its rolling tea plantations and stunning landscapes. Sample some locally produced teas and experience the peaceful hilltop ambiance.

Continue the day with a visit to the Akha village of Loyo, where you can learn about the customs and daily life of this ethnic minority group. Afterward, explore the picturesque Mae Fah Luang botanical gardens, filled with vibrant floral displays and panoramic views.

Your final stop today is the renowned Golden Triangle. Embark on a boat ride along the Mekong River, offering views of the point where Thailand, Myanmar (Burma), and Laos converge.

Day 4 – Chiang Saen – Departure (B)
