Itinerary, day by day
Your guide and driver meet you in the arrivals hall at Noi Bai International Airport with a World Mate Travel sign. Clubs and suitcases go into the vehicle together, and instead of driving into the city you turn north: BRG Legend Hill Golf Resort is in Soc Son district, about a quarter of an hour from the terminal, which is why this is the round to play on arrival day.
Legend Hill opened in 2015 and is a Nicklaus Design course of 18 holes, par 72, laid over low hills, pine woods and lakes. It was the first course in Vietnam built with twin greens: every hole has two putting surfaces, and the club sets the day's pin on one or the other, so the same tee shot can ask for a different line and a different club from one day to the next. Your caddy will tell you on the tee which green is in play. Buggies are shared, two riders to a cart, and both the caddy fee and the buggy are inside your price.
After the round there is time to shower and eat at the clubhouse at your own expense before the drive of roughly 45 minutes into Hanoi. Check in at your hotel; the evening is free. Overnight in Hanoi.
Flight times: plan on landing by about 10:30 for an early-afternoon tee time with daylight to finish 18 holes. If your flight lands later, we move the Legend Hill round to the morning of Day 4 — the course is on the way to the airport — and Day 1 becomes a straight transfer to the hotel, at the same price. Tell us your flight times when you book.
Breakfast at the hotel, then about an hour west of Hanoi along Thang Long Boulevard to Dong Mo lake at the foot of Ba Vi mountain. BRG Kings Island, opened in 1993, is the oldest golf club in northern Vietnam, and it is still reached the way it always has been: you leave the vehicle at the jetty and cross the reservoir on the club's own boat, bags and all.
There are three courses on the property. Lakeside, by Robert McFarland, is the original 18 and brings the water into play on almost every hole. Mountainview, by Pacific Coast Design, is the more open of the two older layouts, with wider fairways rolling towards Ba Vi. The Kings Course, by Jack Nicklaus II, opened in 2018 and is the longest and most heavily bunkered of the three. Your round is 18 holes on Lakeside or Mountainview according to tee-time availability; if you would rather play the Kings Course, tell us at booking and we confirm what the club can offer and any difference in green fee.
Allow fifteen to twenty minutes each way for the boat. You are back in Hanoi by late afternoon with the evening free. Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast you drive about an hour south-west to Chuong My district, where Sky Lake Resort & Golf Club sits around Van Son lake among low wooded hills. The club opened in 2012 and has 36 holes in two 18-hole, par-72 courses. The Lake Course is kept for members; visitors play the Sky Course, and that is the one in your programme.
The fairways are generous off the tee, but the ground rises and falls throughout, water comes in on a good number of holes, and the bunkering around the greens punishes an approach that is merely close. It is a good course to finish on, after two rounds to get used to the grass and the caddies' way of reading a green.
Lunch is at the clubhouse at your own expense. You return to Hanoi in the late afternoon for a last free evening in the city. Overnight in Hanoi.
Breakfast at the hotel and a morning with no tee time. Depending on your flight there is room for a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, a coffee by St Joseph's Cathedral, the Temple of Literature, or simply an unhurried pack — the morning is your own.
At the time agreed with your guide, your vehicle collects you and your clubs for the transfer of about 45 minutes to Noi Bai International Airport. Check-out is at 12:00; a late check-out or an extra night can be arranged on request.

With 2 golfers, 4-star is US$916, 4-star boutique US$939 and 5-star US$993 per person. The single room supplement is US$68 to US$169 depending on hotel class. Prices are valid for travel in 2027, except Tet, Vietnamese public holidays and the New Year peak.
Yes. The vehicle, driver and English-speaking guide are for your group only, and the vehicle is sized for your golf bags as well as your seats: a 7-seater up to 3 golfers, a 16-seater for 4 to 7, a 29-seat coach for 8 to 24 and a 45-seat coach above that.
The prices are for weekday rounds, Monday to Friday. Clubs add surcharges at weekends and on public holidays, and weekends fill first with members, so we requote if any round falls on those days. Tee times are requested when you confirm, and the order of the three courses may change to fit the times the clubs release, without changing the price.
Day 1 needs a landing by about 10:30 to finish 18 holes at Legend Hill in daylight. If you land later, we move the Legend Hill round to the morning of Day 4 — the course is on the way to the airport — and Day 1 becomes a transfer to your hotel, at the same price. Tell us your flight times when you book.
Green fee, caddy fee and a buggy shared by two players are included on all three rounds. Club rental, balls, golf shoes and the caddy tip (customary 300,000 to 500,000 VND per caddy per round) are not. All three clubs expect a collared shirt, tailored trousers or shorts and soft spikes; denim is not accepted.
Yes. A companion who does not play shares the hotel, vehicle and guide and pays a lower fare without green fees, quoted on request; we can also add a Hanoi city tour or a day trip while the golfers are on the course. Children under 3 travel free. Children aged 3 to 10 pay 68% of the adult fare without an extra bed or 86% with one. Junior golfers are accepted at each club's discretion and junior rate, and clubs may ask for a handicap certificate for players under 16.
Citizens of the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Nordic countries, Japan, South Korea and a number of other European countries can enter Vietnam visa-free for up to 45 days. Most ASEAN citizens get 14 to 30 days. Everyone else, including US, Canadian, Australian and Indian passport holders, applies online for an e-visa (up to 90 days, single or multiple entry) at the official portal evisa.gov.vn, usually issued in about 3 working days. Send an inquiry and we confirm the price in writing within 24 hours. Nothing is charged on this website. To confirm your tour, pay a 30% deposit by bank transfer or by Visa, Mastercard or Amex through a secure OnePay payment link that we email to you. The remaining 70% is due at least 14 days before you arrive. The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel (in writing) more than 21 days before departure, you lose only the deposit, and any amount paid above it stays valid for 12 months towards another tour. From 7 to 21 days before departure the charge is 50% of the tour price, and within 6 days or for a no-show it is 100%. Groups of more than 8 people, and tours that include flights or Mekong river cruises, have different terms.
