DAY 1: WELCOME TO LUANG PRABANG
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang has been claimed by UNESCO to be ‘The best-preserved city in South East Asia’.
DAY 2: LUANG PRABANG – KHOUANGSI WATERFALL – CITY TOURS (B)
Breakfast then head to the most Lao famous Khouangsi Waterfall
The waterfall is located 29km from Luang Prabang; access is via a trail on the left of the waterfalls. The Kuang Si Falls (Tat Kuang Si) waterfalls are a favorite side trip for tourists in Luang Prabang. The falls begin in shallow pools atop a steep hillside. These lead to the main fall with a 60 metres (200 ft) drop. The water flows into a turquoise blue pool before continuing downstream. Additional activities include swimming in the cool water, swinging on ropes, and enjoying snacks from on-site eateries, plus visit the Bear-rescue sanctuary.
Afternoon, we return to town and visit the Royal Palace Museum which hosts a range of interesting artefacts. Our walking tour we take in some of Luang Prabang’s hidden secrets by walking down the quiet back lanes leading to Wat Xiengthong. Along the way we stop at Wat Chomkhong, which is known for its decorative carvings. This area contains a mix of beautiful old French Colonial buildings, and traditional old Lao houses, which you will have time to admire, we also pass by the Fine Arts School, where we can see some of the quality artwork on display. Followed by a visit to Wat Visoun, also known as ‘The Water Melon Stupa’ due to its shape, then we visit the excellent Arts and Ethnology Centre which gives us a further insight into the ethnic mixes and cultures of Laos. Late this afternoon, it is time stretching your legs climb Mount Phousi, which offers a spectacular sunset and a panoramic view over Luang Prabang and the Mekong River. Finally, we are strolling through the night market (open between 5pm-10pm) setting in downtown selling a large variety of local textiles and ethnic handicrafts.

DAY 3: LUANG PRABANG – NONG KHAIW (B)
Breakfast, we are heading north to Nong Khiaw. Upon arrival, you board a small long tail motorboat on Nam Ou River heading upstream to Muang Ngoi, a picturesque little fishing village 1 hour upstream from Nong Khiaw and a glance the local life on the bank of rivers, back to little hillside town, you able to enjoy spectacular view of limestone mountain kart and local life on both sides of river bank by sunset. We have a nice walk along the small and old Village Muang Ngoi before boarding the boat back to Nong Khiaw, you may wish to do as the locals do and bath in the Nam Ou.

DAY 4: NONG KHAIW – OUDOMXAY – NAM KAT (B)
An Early morning, Pha Som Nang view point is one amazing place to visit once you are in Nong Khaiw, escort by our guide, we trek up to the top of the mountain with a stunning view of Nong Khaiw and Nam Ou River (the tour last about 2h30)
After breakfast at hotel, we drive to Oudomxay and enjoying the most stunning scenic view of northern Lao mountain ranges. Upon arrival at Oudomxay, we take a short drive to Nam Kat Yorlapa, Namkat Yorla Pa, a protected forestry area along the Nam Kat River. Situated in Oudomxay province in North Eastern Laos, this area is truly one of the most beautiful and desired eco-tourism destinations in Laos and South East Asia. You will experience the complete wonder, exotic beauty, ethnic culture, thrilling adventure, the natural serenity and the biodiversity of the flora and fauna all in one place in Laos. Relax by the pool, ride a complimentary bicycle on the paved paths, explore the forest area at your leisure, or simple rest on the balcony of the restaurant listing to the sounds of the wildlife and watching the stream pass you by. DAY 5: NAM KAT – PAKBENG (BY MINIVAN) (B)
Enjoy your breakfast and leisure until departing to Pakbeng via Muangxay, a provincial capital of Oudomxay, at glance, you may have a short tour of this little town exploring the landmark of the province at mount Phu That… your journey would takes approx. 2-4hrs, enroute, drop off and visit hilltribe villages such as Ban Pia Hoa Nam.(Hmong Village) with their local way of life, next visit at Ban Ngor (Yor) Tai Leu pottery village. Ban Yor offers a unique cultural experience with a long standing history. Founded in year 902, when a group of Thai Leu moved into the wide open valley that promised good harvests and a warm climate. Today this village consists of 135 families with a total of 682 inhabitants. Continue your exploring to visit Khmu at Ban Vangva. They have an interesting culture preserved. Arrival in Pakbeng by late afternoon and we check-in at the mountain top resort Le Grand Pakbeng where you can admire 360c panorama view of Mekong River and mountain ranges either from your room or swimming pool terrace.

DAY 6: PAKBENG – LUANG PRABANG (BY CRUISE) (B, L)
Enjoy your breakfast and transfer to boat pier for boarding a traditional boat downstream to Luang Prabang, your journey would approx. 6hrs and your lunch will be served on board, while cruising you may be seen water buffalos, goats or even elephants. The boat will slowly cruise down passing many villages of both banks of the Mekong, enroute stop visiting local villages along and Buddha cave at Pak Ou and Lao rice wine village Ban Xanghai. The boat arrive Luang Prabang by late afternoon and check in at hotel
DAY 7: LUANG PRABANG AND TRANSFER TO AIRPORT (B)
Depending on your flight, you may have time at leisure before you will be transferred to the airport in time for your departing flight.
