Tour details
Siem Reap - Tonle Sap Lake - Floating Villages - Wat Bo - Wat Thmey ( Full Day )

After meeting our tour guide, we will drive to Tonle Sap Lake and visit the Floating Villages, located just 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Enjoy a scenic ride on a traditional wooden boat across Tonle Sap, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, which is also the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. As you glide across the water, you’ll witness firsthand the Khmer way of life that thrives on the lake.
Next, we’ll visit Wat Bo, a revered pagoda founded in the 18th century. Inside, you’ll find unique wall paintings depicting scenes from the Reamker (the Khmer version of the Ramayana), believed to be from the late 19th century.
Our journey continues to Wat Thmey, also known as the Killing Fields, where you can see a distinctive glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge regime, providing a sobering reminder of Cambodia's tragic past.
