Twenty-eight golf itineraries across Vietnam and South Africa, most of them three to nine days. Vietnam has become a serious golf destination in the last decade — the courses around Da Nang, Ha Long and Hanoi are the ones most of these are built on — and the trips here are arranged by people who book tee times in the region rather than by a general travel desk passing on a request. That is the practical difference: tee times, club rental, transfers timed to a first tee rather than to a hotel checkout, and a caddie arrangement that is already understood. Most of these itineraries are quoted rather than priced on the page, and that is a deliberate consequence of how golf pricing works: green fees vary by day of the week and by season, and a figure published in March would be wrong by October. Tell the office the dates, the party size and the handicap range, and the quote comes back with the actual current fees for the courses in it.
