Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival
Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, complete immigration procedures and collect your luggage. You will then be warmly welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy some free time to relax and explore at your leisure.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Sightseeing (B/L)
Start your day with a delightful breakfast, followed by a half-day Cyclo ride to explore the city. During this ride, you will visit The Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum of Arts, and Wat Phnom. Enjoy a scrumptious lunch at a local restaurant before heading out to visit the Killing field and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. The museum is located in a former school that was taken over by the Khmer Rouge and used as their primary detention and torture center, known as "S-21". End your day with a visit to the local market, known as the "Russian market".

Day 3: Phnom Penh – Kampong Cham – Chhlong (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will travel to Chhlong via Kampong Cham province, covering a distance of 220 km in approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes. During the journey, we will make a brief stop at the charming crossroad town of Skun, where you can try the local specialty "Deep-fried Spiders" if you are feeling adventurous. We will also visit Pagoda Norkor Bachey in Kampong Cham and have lunch at a local restaurant. On the way to Chhlong, we will stop to explore the Rubber Plantations of Chub, which were initially funded by the French tire manufacturer Michelin. Upon arrival in Chhlong, we will check-in to the hotel and have dinner at the hotel's restaurant.

Day 4: Chhlong – Kratie – Koh Trong Island (B/L)
Following breakfast, you will depart for Kratie, which is approximately 38 km away and takes about 45 minutes by road. Once there, you will board a local ferry to Koh Trong Island, located in the middle of the Mekong River, directly opposite Kratie Town. The island boasts a 9km loop road around its perimeter, which provides visitors with the opportunity to leisurely ride bicycles through traditional Khmer villages, fruit orchards, and rice fields while observing the daily rituals and routines of traditional village life.
Upon reaching the top of the island, you will turn left and head inland, where you will soon come across the Wat Ty Pram Kbal Pagoda. Lunch will be served at a homestay on Koh Trong Island. After lunch, you will take the local ferry back to Kratie and then transfer to Prek Kampi for a boat cruise on the Mekong River. During the cruise, you will have the chance to catch glimpses of the rare Mekong River Dolphins, also known as the “Irrawaddy Dolphins”, a rare species only found in Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia. If you are lucky, you may even spot a dolphin tail. After the tour, you will check-in to the hotel, and dinner will be on your own account.

Day 5: Kratie - Mondulkiri (B)
After enjoying breakfast, we will embark on a journey to Mondulkiri, which is approximately 194 km away and takes about 4 hours by road. This province is renowned for its natural beauty, including thickly forested mountains, powerful waterfalls, and lush green rolling hills on the western side. The majority of houses in Mondulkiri are built in the typical Khmer style, and ten tribal minorities make up 80 percent of the population. One of the province's main attractions is its elephants! Upon arrival, we will check-in to the hotel, and you can enjoy lunch on your own account. In the afternoon, we will visit the Lak Pok Bras Waterfall, which is surrounded by forest and mountains, and you can swim in the open areas of the clear water. Dinner will also be on your own account.

Day 6: Mondulkiri – Jungle Adventure (Part 1) (B/L/D) https://www.mondulkiriproject.org
Breakfast at the hotel
The project team will pick up from Main Street of Sen Monorom between 8:20 and 8:30am.
Between 8:45 and 9:00am, we will embark on a drive to the tour's starting point. This location provides breathtaking views of the vast forest area that has been safeguarded from logging thanks to the Mondulkiri Project.
From 9:00 to 12:00pm, we will embark on a journey from the hilltop to the Mondulkiri Project's Jungle Lodge, where your guide will provide an introduction to the project. Following this, you will have the opportunity to meet the 5 elephants and their Mahouts.
From 12:00 to 2:00pm, take a leisurely stroll back to the jungle lodge and take a break for lunch. Take in the breathtaking sights of the lush jungle surroundings.
From 2:00 to 4:30pm, we will head back down to the valley and make our way to the waterfall for a refreshing swim. We will also assist in bathing our elephants.
From 4:30 to 5:00pm, bid farewell to the majestic elephants and make your way back to the Jungle Lodge.
From 5:00pm onwards, you can unwind at the Jungle Lodge and witness the breathtaking sunset while lounging by the fire. Your Bunong guide will be introduced to you, and they will prepare a delectable traditional Bunong soup cooked inside bamboo. Following dinner, you can indulge in rice wine and card games. Finally, you can retire to your hammock for a peaceful night's sleep.

Day 7: Mondulkiri – Jungle Adventure (Part 2) (B/L) https://www.mondulkiriproject.org
From 7:00 to 8:00am, start the day by waking up and savoring a delicious breakfast at the Jungle Lodge, which offers breathtaking views of the Otey River.
From 8:00 to 12:00pm, take a stroll across the newly constructed log bridge over the Otey River. Traverse through the stunning jungle, adorned with a plethora of trees, flowers, vines, and bamboo. Don't forget to stop by the magnificent Leng Khin Waterfall, towering at a height of 50 meters.
From noon until 1:00pm, enjoy a delicious lunch at the campsite located next to the stunning Leng Ong waterfall. Take a break and go for a refreshing swim!\
From 1:00 to 4:30pm, embark on a trek to the Bunong Farm where you can witness the growth of cassava, chili peppers, lemon grass, wild rice, pineapples, and cashew nut trees. The journey continues to the Leng Ret cat and waterfall, where you can observe bats sleeping in the cave. Traverse through the jungle, cross a river, and ascend out of the jungle to reach Putang Village. A car will be waiting to transport you back to Sen Monorom from the village.

Day 8: Mondulkiri - Stueng Treng – Preah Vihear – Siem Reap (B/L)
Following breakfast, embark on a land transfer to Siem Reap via Stuegn Treng and Preah Vihear province, covering a distance of 610km and taking approximately 9 hours. A stop for lunch will be made at Mekong Bird Resort en route. Upon arrival in the evening, check-in to the hotel and enjoy dinner at your own expense.

Day 9: Siem Reap – Sightseeing (B/L)
Set out to explore the South Gate of Angkor Thom, including the Bayon, Baphoun, Baksei Chamkrong temples, the Elephant terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King, following breakfast.
IMPORTANT: During the visit of Baphoun temple – visitors should wear shirts or blouse covering shoulders
The dress code requires clothing that covers both arms and legs, including long skirts and trousers. Short skirts or trousers are not permitted.
Enjoy a local restaurant for lunch before embarking on a visit to the magnificent Angkor Wat temple, renowned as one of the wonders of the oriental world. This awe-inspiring temple boasts masterpieces of decorative details and architectural style, serving as a testament to the remarkable accomplishments of Southeast Asia's greatest civilization through its impressive ruins.
It is crucial to note that when visiting Angkor Wat temple, visitors must dress appropriately. This includes wearing shirts or blouses that cover the shoulders and arms, as well as long skirts or trousers that cover the legs. It is important to avoid wearing miniskirts or short trousers.
Depending on the weather conditions, you can relish the sunset over either Phnom Bakeng or Pre Rup temple.
It is crucial to note that the APSARA authority has implemented measures to safeguard the Phnom Bakheng site by limiting the number of visitors allowed to climb to 300.
You can ascend Phnom Bakeng once per visit.
Upon completion of the tour, you will be responsible for your own dinner arrangements at the hotel.

Day 10: Siem Reap – Sightseeing (B/L)
Begin your day by departing after breakfast towards Tonle Sap Lake, where you will board a boat and take a ride to visit a floating village. As you journey through the floating houses on small private boats, you will be able to witness the unique way of life of the locals. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before departing to visit the famous Banteay Srey temple.
This temple is known as the pink temple of women due to its construction from pink sandstone and is considered a tribute to the beauty of women. Its small size, delicate carvings, and remarkable state of preservation make it a favorite among visitors. The temple's apsara and male and female divinities showcase the most skilled craftsmanship of sandstone carvings. Banteay Srey is located approximately 25 kilometers north of Angkor and was dedicated in 987, making it one of the oldest temples in the region. Despite its age, it was not rediscovered until the 1900s.
It is important to wear a shirt or blouse that covers the body when visiting Banteay Srey temple.
The dress code requires that shoulders and arms be covered, and that long skirts or trousers be worn to cover the legs. Short trousers or miniskirts are not permitted.
Take a break and savor the refreshing flavor of coconut juice during your return to the hotel, and enjoy dinner at your own expense.

Day 11: Siem Reap – Sightseeing (B/L)
Begin your day with a visit to several temples after breakfast. Prasat Kravan boasts unique brick sculptures, while Srah Srang, also known as "the royal baths," was once used for ritual bathing. Banteay Kdei is surrounded by four concentric walls, making it a fascinating site to explore. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your tour with a visit to Ta Phrom, a lost temple hidden in the jungle. The ruins of Ta Prohm are intertwined with strangler figs and kapok trees, whose roots have burst through even the thickest walls. Despite this, their embrace prevents the walls from collapsing. After the tour, return to your hotel and enjoy dinner on your own.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then have some free time to relax before being transferred to Siem Reap International Airport for your onward flight.
