Itinerary, day by day
Upon reaching our destination, we will proceed to the hotel for check-in. Later in the day, we will explore Artisan D'Angkor, a handicraft center renowned for its wood and stone carving techniques. Our Siem Reap tour itinerary also includes a visit to Wat Thmey or Killing Field, which houses a distinctive glass-enclosed stupa that holds the remains of those who fell victim to the Khmer Rouge. Begin your Siem Reap packages with a visit to The South Gate of Angkor Thom, where you can explore Bayon Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Next, venture to Ta Promh, also known as the jungle temple. After a satisfying lunch, continue your journey to Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, and Ta Keo, a small yet charming temple in excellent condition, built during the same time as Angkor Wat.
Your next stop is the renowned Angkor Wat, known as the "7th Wonder of the World" and a World Heritage Site since 1992. This temple boasts the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, depicting stories from Hindu mythology along the outer gallery walls.
End your day 2 of Siem Reap packages with a visit to Bakheng Hill, where you can witness a breathtaking sunset and enjoy stunning views of the Tonle Sap and Angkor Wat. After dinner, head to Night & Pub Street for a fun-filled evening. Your overnight stay will be in Siem Reap.
Special note:
Regarding the Bakan Tower visit at Angkor Wat Temple, it is closed for four days each month according to the Theravada Buddhist Religious Calendar. Visitors must dress appropriately, covering their shoulders and knees (no revealing clothing). Additionally, visitors are asked to wait in line for their turn to climb to the peak, and for safety reasons, children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb.
You are free to spend your morning of the final day in Siem Reap packages as you please until it is time to gather for transportation to the airport for your return flight.
