Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok (-)

Upon arrival at Bangkok Airport (Gate No. 4), you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Bangkok, the vibrant capital of Thailand, is steeped in history and tradition, particularly linked to the enduring Chakri dynasty. Check in and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 2: Bangkok City Tour (B)

After breakfast, discover the iconic Grand Palace, home to centuries of royal ceremonies. Within the complex lies Wat Phra Kaew, known for the revered Emerald Buddha statue. Continue on to Wat Pho, home to the majestic reclining Buddha, and Wat Traimit, famed for its solid gold Buddha.
In the afternoon, enjoy a long-tail boat ride along the Chao Phraya River and through lively canals, offering a glimpse into local riverside life. Stop to admire the beautiful Wat Arun, also called the Temple of Dawn.

Day 3: Bangkok – Maeklong Market – Damnoen Saduak – Kanchanaburi (B)

Depart early for the unique Maeklong Railway Market, where stalls line active train tracks. Capture some great photos and sample local snacks. Continue to Damnoen Saduak for a long-tail boat journey through canals to its colorful floating market.
Then head to Kanchanaburi and visit the JEATH War Museum and the Allied War Cemetery. Enjoy lunch beside the iconic River Kwai Bridge (on your own), followed by a scenic train ride along the historic Death Railway.

Day 4: Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya (B)

Travel north to Ayutthaya, the former capital of Siam. Visit Wat Phu Khao Thong (Golden Mount Monastery) before exploring the ancient palace ruins and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. Admire the grandeur of Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit, home to one of Thailand’s largest bronze Buddhas. After lunch (own expense), visit Wat Lokaya Sutha with its enormous reclining Buddha.

Day 5: Ayutthaya – Bang Pa-In – Bangkok – Flight to Chiang Rai (B)

This morning, explore the elegant Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, a fusion of Thai, Chinese, Khmer, and European architecture. Return to Bangkok and board a domestic flight to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure.

Day 6: Chiang Rai City Tour (B)

Begin your day at the local market, then visit Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Phra Singh, each housing revered Buddha statues. Next, tour Baan Dam (Black House), a surreal blend of traditional Lanna and avant-garde art created by the late Thawan Duchanee.
In the afternoon, cruise the Mae Kok River to a Karen village, where you may observe and feed elephants before returning to Chiang Rai.

Day 7: Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle – Chiang Mai (B)

Today, head to Chiang Saen, an ancient riverside city, then visit the Opium Museum to understand the region’s past. Enjoy lunch (at your own expense) at the Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet. Take a boat trip along the Mekong River for panoramic views of the tri-border region.
Continue to Chiang Mai.

Day 8: Chiang Mai City Tour & Doi Suthep (B)

After breakfast, take a walking tour of Chiang Mai’s Old Town. Visit historic temples such as Wat Phra Singh, Wat Phan Tao, and Wat Chedi Luang. Ride a traditional rickshaw through charming streets lined with teakwood homes and browse the vibrant Warorot Market.
In the afternoon, ascend Doi Suthep Hill to visit the revered Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, offering stunning views over Chiang Mai. Spend your evening at the lively Night Market.

Day 9: Mae Sapok Jungle Trekking Experience (B, L)

Embark on a day of adventure to Mae Sapok. Trek through lush jungle trails to a remote Karen village, where you’ll interact with locals and learn about their traditions. Hike to a serene waterfall for a refreshing swim and picnic lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing bamboo raft ride down the river before returning to Chiang Mai.
