Tour details

DAY 01: SIEM REAP Arrival (D)

Upon reaching our destination, we will proceed to the hotel for check-in. Later in the day, we will explore Artisan D'Angkor, a handicraft center renowned for its wood and stone carving techniques. Our itinerary also includes a visit to Wat Thmey or Killing Field, which houses a distinctive glass-enclosed stupa that holds the remains of those who fell victim to the Khmer Rouge. Our stay for the night will be in Siem Reap Tour.

DAY 02: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT (B/L/D)

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a tour of The South Gate of Angkor Thom. Marvel at the Bayob Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Next, explore the jungle temple of Ta Promh. After a satisfying lunch, visit Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, and Ta Keo, a small yet charming temple in excellent condition, built during the same time as Angkor Wat.

The highlight of the day is a visit to Angkor Wat, known as the "7th Wonder of the World" and a World Heritage Site since 1992. Admire its beauty and splendor, including the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which depicts stories from Hindu mythology. End the day with a sunset viewing on top of Bakheng Hill, the first major temple constructed in the Angkor area, offering breathtaking views. Spend the night in Siem Reap.

Special note:

Regarding the Bakan Tower visit at Angkor Wat Temple, it is closed for four days each month according to the Theravada Buddhist Religious Calendar. Visitors must dress appropriately, covering their shoulders and knees (no revealing clothing). Additionally, visitors are asked to wait in line for their turn to climb to the peak, and for safety reasons, children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb.

DAY 03: SIEM REAP: (B/L/D)

Following breakfast, we will embark on a journey to Kulen National Park, located on Kulen Mountain, which served as the Khmer Empire's capital in the early 9th century. Our visit will include exploring numerous ancient temples, the River of 1000 Lingas, a reclining Buddha, and a cascading waterfall where you can purify yourself with holy water. We will return to town for a late lunch.

In the afternoon, we will drive to Pouk district, approximately 15 km west of Siem Reap town, to visit a silk farm. This captivating farm/workshop offers a glimpse into the entire silk creation process, from growing food for the silk worms to breeding the worms, silk extraction and refinement, traditional kit dying pattern creation, and looming. The farm also features a retail silk and souvenir shop. On our way back, we will visit the Western Baray (Baray Occidental), an 8 km by 2.3 km reservoir that provided water for the intensive cultivation of lands around Angkor. We will spend the night in Siem Reap.

DAY 04: SIEM REAP: (B/L/D)

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to visit the Siem Reap Floating Village. You can take a ride on a traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake to witness the unique human occupations at the edges of the lake. The siem reap floating village, towering stilt houses, and huge fish traps are all part of an economy and way of life deeply intertwined with the lake, the fish, the wildlife, and the cycles of rising and falling waters.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Cambodian Cultural Villages, which includes a Wax Museum, Miniatures, the former capital Ou Dong, Royal Palace, National Museum, Wat Phnom, Phsar Thmey, 12th century Kompong Kdey Bridge, 16th century reclining Buddha, Independent Monument, Carving, Traditional Dances Show, and Villages. After the tour, you will be transferred back to town and have free time until dinner.

DAY 05 SIEM REAP – DEPARTURE (B)

You are free to spend your morning as you please until it is time to gather for the transfer to the airport for your return flight.
