Tour details

Pnom Penh - Tuol Sleng Prison Museum - Royal Palace - National Museum - Wat Phnom ( Full Day )

Meet your guide and transfer to visit the Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the infamous Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, which are crucial to understanding the tragic and bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge. These sites offer a powerful and somber reflection on Cambodia’s past.

Next, we visit the Royal Palace compound, built in 1866 by the predecessors of King Norodom. This remarkable complex is a stunning example of colorful Khmer-style architecture. Adjacent to the Royal Palace is the Silver Pagoda (The Emerald Buddha Temple), home to numerous Buddha statues decorated with diamonds, emeralds, gold, and silver.

We then continue to the National Museum, an iconic red building showcasing exquisite Khmer architecture. Built in 1917, it houses over 5,000 art objects made from sandstone, bronze, silver, copper, wood, and more.

Our tour also includes a visit to Wat Phnom, the "Mountain Pagoda," a Buddhist temple situated on a hill. The first pagoda on this site was erected in 1372 to house four Buddha statues discovered by Lady Penh, after being deposited by the Mekong River. Wat Phnom remains a popular spot for locals, whether for relaxation, prayer, or enjoying the sunset.
