Where is Laguna Golf Lang Co and how far is it from Da Nang and Hue?
Laguna Golf Lang Co is in Hue City, not Da Nang. It lies on the coast between the two cities, north of the Hai Van Pass, inside the Laguna Lang Co resort. Where2Golf places it 46 km north-west of Da Nang and 55 km south-east of Hue. Golfers staying in Da Nang or Hoi An should plan a full day.

Golfers' reviews on Golfasian in 2026 call the drive long, and one reviewer in July 2026 reported two hours each way. The resort runs a free shuttle for hotel guests from Da Nang International Airport. As of October 2026 the Angsana Lang Co page lists airport pick-ups at 01:30, 09:30, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 15:30 and 17:00, with flight details needed 24 hours ahead and advance notice for golf bags.
The address changed in 2025. Thua Thien Hue Province became Hue City, a centrally governed city, on 1 January 2025, and districts were abolished on 1 July 2025. The club's address is now Chan May – Lang Co Commune, Hue City. Older golf guides still say Loc Vinh Commune, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province. Who designed Laguna Golf Lang Co and what kind of course is it?
Sir Nick Faldo, a six-time major winner, designed Laguna Golf Lang Co. The club describes it as his second design in Vietnam, with an out-and-back routing and links-like character. The holes run between the East Sea and a ring of mountains, past rice paddies, streams, trees and rock outcrops.
Golfasian describes three zones: opening holes through flat rice paddies, a middle section beside the sea, and closing holes through low hills and around large rocks, which it calls the hardest on the course. Where2Golf notes that the 9th, a short par 4, is the only hole that runs right along the beach. Top 100 Golf Courses records that Faldo opened the course in March 2013 and that it was the first in Vietnam with Zoysia fairways and TifEagle greens.

Laguna Golf Lang Co plays 6,961 yards from the Black tees, with a course rating of 74.1 and a slope of 144. The club's scorecard lists four sets of tees, down to 5,178 yards from the Red tees. Every tee is par 71: 35 on the front nine and 36 on the back.

Which holes should I know about before I play?
The back nine is 343 yards longer than the front from the Black tees and holds the longest hole, the 621-yard par-5 18th. Hole 6, a 406-yard par 4, is stroke index 1. The course has four par 3s, eleven par 4s and three par 5s. Yardages below are from the club's scorecard.

On the club's public rate, valid April to October 2026, an 18-hole round costs 3,200,000 VND from Monday to Friday and 4,000,000 VND on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The rate includes the green fee, the caddie fee and a shared golf cart. Golfers under 16 pay half.

Are a caddie and a golf cart included?
Yes. The public rate includes the caddie fee and a shared golf cart. The club's golf policy requires each player to have their own caddie and their own set of clubs. Carts must stay off the fairways, except for players over 80 or with permission from club management.
The club's golf page adds that a cart is required on peak days and prices a separate buggy at 900,000 VND per unit, shared by two people. Asking for a named caddie costs a 200,000 VND booking fee.
The usual caddie tip is 400,000 to 500,000 VND per 18 holes, paid in cash directly to the caddie. The tip is not included in the green fee.
What are the tee times and pace-of-play rules?
The first tee time is 06:00. The club warns that a round starting after 12:30 from December to February, or after 13:00 from March to November, may not finish 18 holes before dark. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your tee time. Groups are a maximum of four players.

The golf policy lists no handicap requirement. It does say the club may refuse play to anyone who cannot keep a reasonable pace.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation charge depends on group size. For 1 to 8 golfers the club charges 50% for a cancellation two days before play and 100% one day before. Larger groups need longer notice: four and two days for 9 to 20 golfers, seven and four days for 21 or more.

What is the dress code at Laguna Golf Lang Co?
Men wear a collared shirt with sleeves. Women may wear a collared sleeveless top or a collarless shirt with sleeves. Trousers, shorts or skirts are worn with a belt. Cargo shorts, sports shorts, denim and beachwear are not allowed. Golf shoes or flat-soled sneakers are required; flip-flops and open-toe shoes are not allowed.
What facilities does the club have?
The two-storey clubhouse has a pro shop, 180 men's lockers and 123 women's lockers, golf bag storage and two places to eat and drink: Golf Café, which overlooks the 18th hole, and Bar 67. Practice areas include a driving range, a short-game area for chipping and putting, and the Gong Mini Putting Course.
Guests of Banyan Tree Lang Co, Angsana Lang Co and Laguna Parkside can join a free one-hour group lesson on Tuesdays from 09:00 and Fridays from 16:00, for up to eight people, booked one day ahead.
What condition is the course in, and how hard is it?
Golfers' reviews on Golfasian from 2024 to 2026 praise the variety of rice paddies, jungle and beach, the scenery and the caddies. The repeated complaint in 2025 was the greens, described as patchy or in poor condition by several reviewers between March and May. Reviews from February to August 2026 describe good condition.
Rain is the other theme. Reviewers in February 2024 had play stopped after four holes, and reviewers in April 2025 played in heavy rain. The Lang Co coast is wetter than Da Nang. A slope of 144 from the Black tees is high; most visitors play the Blue or White tees.
Where can I stay and play?
Three places to stay share the resort with the course: Banyan Tree Lang Co, Angsana Lang Co and Laguna Parkside. The club's Stay & Play package uses Laguna Parkside townhouses and is valid until 30 November 2026. One night with one 18-hole round, breakfast, caddie and shared cart costs from 3,413,000 VND per person.

Laguna Golf Lang Co is the furthest of the six courses from Da Nang and the second cheapest on a weekday in October 2026, at 3,200,000 VND with caddie and cart. It has the highest slope rating of the courses that publish one. Its mix of rice paddies, beach and rock is unlike the dune courses near Hoi An.
